Muse Glimmer puts Meta’s model closer to the device

Local deployment can change privacy and cost trade-offs, but the model’s weights are only part of the application. Tool access, memory, and external connections determine where data goes. Hardware fit and actual task quality should be evaluated together before assuming a downloadable assistant will be economical or entirely offline.
