NVIDIA released Isaac ROS 5.0 at ROSCon, introducing agentic development workflows and updated platform support. The package collection builds on the open ROS ecosystem, aiming to help developers and AI agents create, customize, and deploy robotics applications.
Context
Development automation can simplify code and configuration work, while the robot’s physical behavior remains a separate concern. A useful workflow must connect generated changes to simulation, hardware checks, and observable results. Building the application faster should also make it easier to understand what changed before it reaches a machine.
