Context

For developers, a broader ecosystem creates choices in languages, deployment requirements, and licensing. But openness has several dimensions. Downloadable weights do not by themselves explain the training data, make a result reproducible, or settle commercial-use rights. Those distinctions remain worth checking for each individual release.
