Claude Tag brings an agent into the team conversation

Anthropic introduced Claude Tag, allowing teams to connect Claude to selected Slack channels and authorized tools, then delegate through a mention. The announcement includes accumulating working context and tasks executed later.

Context

A shared channel makes requests visible to colleagues, while access to its history requires deliberate boundaries. Teams need to know who can assign work and which actions require confirmation. The same conversational mention should not leave people guessing about the authority it grants or the information the agent will use.
